Studio W. is a creative office based in Cape Town.
Working across luxury, heritage, design, travel and the arts, our practice combines strategic thinking, creative intelligence and rigorous project leadership to take ambitious ideas from concept to completion.
Our interdisciplinary approach is particularly suited to projects that require both vision and the ability to make things happen. We work with founder-led businesses, private clients and family offices, representing their interests and bringing together the right people, perspectives and expertise to create distinctive places, experiences and stories that matter.

Culture gives an idea context. It connects people to place, story and purpose, helping us understand not only what something is, but why it matters. When approached with knowledge, curiosity and intention, culture creates value beyond the project itself — shaping relevance, meaning and, ultimately, legacy.
Every project begins differently. Sometimes we identify the opportunity. Sometimes we shape the idea or narrative. Often, we bring together the right collaborators, expertise and perspectives, then lead the process from first thinking through to final delivery.

Kalahari Desert
“You can have everything in life, but space must be the ultimate, absolute luxury.” — Japie van Niekerk
Positioned on a fossil sand dune in the remote Kalahari Desert, this 42’000ha property is created with one thing in mind, the preservation of wildlife and Kalahari bloodlines and the land in which they inhabit.
The property is a measure of a luxury found in silence, space and the irreplaceable feeling of being somewhere the world has not yet found, and yet protecting its ultimate future.
This extreme place demanded an extreme build. Designed by SAOTA under Principal Stefan Antoni and interior architecture, design and décor by ARRCC’s Jon Case and Mark Reilly — every detail of this villa reflects the craft of spatial design paired an innate aesthetic that embodies this way of living. Materials, textures and colours blend seamlessly with the uniqueness of this austere environment and the magnificence it holds.
Role //
Owner’s Representative, Creative and Operational Project Management — overseeing the full interior fit-out through to operational completion.
Line Producer on the upcoming documentary film on the making of this epic villa, set to release in 2027.

Studio W. was founded by Nikki Wilsworth following more than 25 years of work across creative strategy, experiential design, luxury hospitality, cultural programming, publishing, the arts and project leadership.
Her work is defined by an instinct for connecting ideas, people and disciplines combined with a curiosity about the way culture, place and experience influence how we see the world.
